The fine sandy Balapitiya beach is still an insider tip, often deserted. The shady garden of the hotel invites you to relax.
The standard and deluxe rooms offer an extraordinary size of 50 m². Also the cute bungalow has its fans.
For the backpacking community we can offer the probably cheapest room at Balapitiya Beach with a direct beach access. Family connection not excluded.

Continental or Sri Lankan breakfast on request.
Snacks such as hamburgers, sausages, chips and fresh salads, fruit platters, italian coffee specialities, cold drinks and great ice cream are available in our Cocobello Restaurant at fair prices.
On advance order you will get delicious pizza from the wood-burning oven (minimum contingent required) and of course Sri Lanka Rice & Curry in all variations, and even more.
On request also european dishes, often a welcome option for the little ones ;-)

Family-friendly

Great offer for families: Children up to 12 years don't pay overnight stay if they stay in the available beds.
Tip: Book a family room, there are 2 King Size beds - 2 adults, 2 children ;-)
The hotel offers a large garden where the children can play without hesitation.
Toys are provided by our daughter if necessary :-)

ARRIVAL:

For those arriving by train, the station is called Patagamgoda (see picture (cute, or not?)), only 700m away. Although small, some express trains stop, mostly in the morning. There are Tuk-Tuks further ahead to the Galle Road, if the luggage is too heavy. The next nearest train station is Balapitiya, 2.5 km away. All trains stop in Ambalangoda, 8 km away. There is no train station at the airport.

There is a shuttle bus from the airport to Colombo bus station every 20 minutes. At the opposite bus platform take the Intercity Bus to Ambalangoda or Galle (Line 2). You may have to pay for an extra seat for your luggage. Buy the ticket to Balapitiya, get off at the stop Rajawatta, which is the closest after the police station Ahungalla. It is best to ask the ticket seller to get off at the destination before you leave. From the bus stop it is 400m to the hotel.
From Galle, buy the ticket to Ahungalla, drive through Balapitiya. Rajawatta is the second stop after the stop at the Balapitiya Temple.

By car or taxi:
From the airport or Colombo:
Balapitiya is located about 80km south of Colombo if you take the coastal road A2 towards Galle (Galle Road).
However, it is faster and much more pleasant to take the (toll) highways up to the Aluthgama exit. Then continue to the A2 in the direction of Galle.
Through Ahungalla, 200m after the Ahungalla police station after the S-curve turn right to the beach side, follow our signs. The district is called Rajawatta.
At the beginning of the Rajawatta Road there is a large Buddha statue.
After about 400m you will reach the hotel.
From the direction of Galle: Through Balapitiya, 2 km later our signs are to the right and left of the road, turn left to the beach side (the northern junction with the Buddha statue, not the one given by the navigation system) and follow our signs.

We are also happy to pick you up by taxi from the airport or other places, please contact us.
